1. Gears of War 2

If you’re a fan of shooters and you don’t own this game, buy it immediately. Even if you don’t have Live, playing through the campaign either solo or with a buddy is great fun. It’s well polished, well designed, and has enough variety that it doesn’t get stale.This video game xbox still plays like the first Gears, except with a wider array of weapons and features (ie, chainsaw battles, different modes of executing a downed enemy). This is a third person shooter, for those who have not played the first one. And also, expect a lot of blood and violence, so if you are parents considering this game for your children, this serves as fair warning.

Further, the creators definitely outdid themselves in design of the levels. You should expect to be pleasantly surprised with every single level that comes up. While you can clearly expect to see yourself running around in the streets battling waves after waves of Locust, you will also see another order of magnitude of fighting, with sometimes even as many as 80-100 Locust rushing through your field of view.

2. Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5 is a short, fun action game, but it lacks a lot of what made its predecessor so great. The only improvements are the graphics and the addition of multiplayer. The rest of the changes negatively impact the overall fun of the game. Still, it is a fun game, and I recommend it for any Resident Evil fan or those who are looking for a good action game. 3. Call Of Duty - World At war

Call Of Duty: World at War is a great video games xbox with good graphics. This is a great pick for any Call of Duty fan. I am a personal fan of this game, though it does have a flaw every once and a while.

A lot of people are saying this is strikingly similar to COD4: Modern Warfare, and it is. COD4 was one of the best video games xbox . There were so many battles of WW2 that they need to keep making games like this. The multiplayer online and even coop are amazing features.

Overall, this is a fun game. I don’t think it’s as good as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but it is a good time waster. Just be prepared to want to throw your controller once in a while during multiplayer battles. Video games xbox.

4. Street Fighter IV

I highly recommend it, but be warned, this is not Tekken, Soul Calibur , DOA or Virtua Fighter, even if it looks a bit like them, where you mash buttons mindlessly to link attacks. This is still Street Fighter, with the same type of gameplay.

Street fighter IV is a must-have title for any self-respecting fighting fan. Period. What I like most in Street Fighter IV is the mechanics. The controls feel smooth doing Hudokens and Tiger uppercuts never felt better. SF IV is fun to play alone, on couch with friends or online making it have high replay value.

Overall the game is everything a fighting video games xbox should be. Something casual and hardcore players can both enjoy. Video games xbox.

5. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2

This video game xbox is just what I expected from the folks at Ubsoft as a sequel. A fantastic follow-up to the best FPS in history. Halo 3, while it had a fantastic story, just isn’t nearly as good as the Rainbow series in terms of gameplay.

The weapons are fantastic.The new leveling system is wonderful. In the first game, the only way you could unlock the cool looking gear was to play versus online. And guess what? Not everyone likes to do that. This version allows you to get all the experience either online in versus mode, or playing the Co-op story or terrorist hunt.

Wonderful multiplayer options. You have your story, of course, and terrorist hunt, which gives the game unlimited replayability. The new online modes are cool too, if you’re into that. Video games xbox.
